I am a mother of 3, step-mother to 3 more….yes, we are similar to the Brady Bunch only we have 4 boys and 2 girls. My partner, Jason, is my most frequent travel companion unless I travel with other photographers. For some reason, he doesn’t like to travel with my friends….especially if it involves any activity. He says that photographers hiking is walking for 5 minutes and taking photos for 20.
My photographic adventure started with my first camera when I was 9 – a Kodak 110 Instamatic. With this camera I won an award at our local fair for a photo I took of a black swan. Since then I was rarely seen without my camera. Fast forward quite a few years and I started accepting paid jobs for weddings and family photos and I now shoot sports – specifically action shots. Now that I am in a position to travel more (my dad got me hooked when I was younger), I strive to capture all I experience during those excursions.
